Tarangire national park, located about 75 miles from Arusha city, is the 6th largest national park in Tanzania. Its name comes from Tarangire River, which cross it longitudinally, being this the only water source for animals during the dry season. It is in this season that thousands of animals migrate from Maynara region. The park has the highest population density of elephants and, its vast vegetation, includes the majestic Baobabs and Acacias, transforming it in an incomparable and special place.
